Chateau de Chillon in Montreux is another famous spot for tourists and gives a peek into the history of the place. Dating back four centuries, the water fortress has 14th-century paintings, towers, subterranean vaults, bedrooms, weaponry, and furniture that is still in its original form. It has five buildings and three courtyards and can be visited by boat, bus or foot from the town of Montreux, which adds to the unseen beauty of Switzerland

Other major tourist attractions include Jungfraujoch, Swiss National Park in Zernez, Lake Geneva, and surrounding cities, Lugano, Bern, Lucerne, The Rhine Falls, and Zurich.

Apart from the information on the places you should visit, there are a few travel hacks you should know while exploring the unseen beauty of Switzerland. The Swiss Travel Pass is something that will give you access to rail, bus, and boat all throughout the trip. It is better not to opt for taxis because the charges are really high and would surely up your budget by a noticeable amount.

While you pack, there is no need to spend those extra bucks on buying bottled water as well. The country has water fountains and taps at small distances that you can drink water from. However, buying a bottle or two just in case to be prepared for an emergency is something you can do.
