The national park consists of deep valleys, peaks, narrow gorges, waterfalls and thick dense green forest of Sal, Tendu, and Bel. The best time to visit the national park is from October to April.

HOW TO REACH SATPURA NATIONAL PARK

BY FLIGHT

The two important airports for reaching this National Park are – Bhopal Airport and Jabalpur airport. Tourists use both the airports and they have direct flight connectivity with Delhi & Mumbai.

BY TRAIN

The nearest railway stations for reaching the park are – Sohagpur, Hoshangabad and Itarsi.

THE JUNGLE SAFARI

 

Jungle Safari at Satpura National Park includes a jeep safari, boat safari, and elephant safari. If you like safaris then you’ll get to have a close look at the flora and fauna of Madhya Pradesh. Also, if you are lucky enough then you might even spot the prime attractions like the Black Buck, Leopard, Dhole, Indian Gaur, Malabar Giant Squirrel, and Sloth Bear.

The National park lies in the lap of Satpura Ranges. Dhupgarh is the highest peak of this National Park. The sun rays touch this landscape and offer so many picturesque views.
