Shuka Vana has set a record in the Guinness Book of World Records for inhabiting the most kinds of birds in a garden. It is also a sanctuary to thousands of birds and also heals rescued, endangered, injured, and abandoned birds.


• Kishkindha Moolika Bonsai Garden

Home to approximately 100 bonsai trees, this garden is spread across a vast estate. In addition to this, it is an extended part of the Avadoota Datta Peetham of the Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Ashrama.


• Karanji Lake

The 90-acre lake is amongst the biggest lakes in Karnataka. It is located behind the infamous Mysore Zoo. This lake is also considered to be the largest of its kind in the entire county.


• GRS Fantasy Park

GRS is the only amusement park in and around Mysore. Spread across 40 acres of lush greenery to call its own, GRS has a wide range of dry and wet rides that cater to the entire family for a fun trip.


• St. Philomena’s Cathedral

Built by Mysore King, itis the second largest church in Asia. The church was constructed to set an example of religious understanding and harmony.


• Jaganmohan Palace Art Gallery and Auditorium

Home-turned-art gallery, Jaganmohan Palace Art Gallery is considered to be one of the best art galleries in India. It was renamed in the year 1955. This gallery consists of artifacts and paintings from renowned artists across the globe.
