A Heavenly Experience of Jammu and Kashmir awaits the travel enthusiasts inside you

Jammu and Kashmir is known for its beauty, not only in Asia, but across the world. There is hardly a match for this place in the entire world as the famous poet once said “Agar Firdous Baroye Zameenas, Hamee’as, Hamee’as Hamee’as” (If there is paradise on earth, it is this, it is this, it is this). The heavenly feeling of Kashmir Valley coupled with the calmness of winter capital Jammu provides an unwavering experience to the tourists, who come from around the globe to see the paradise on the face of earth.

There are a number of beautiful spots and places across the length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir, but we are listing only a few of them.

Here are some the famous Jammu and Kashmir tourist places:

1. Srinagar:

The winter capital of the state is a class apart. There is hardly a place in Srinagar, which you can afford to miss out. Starting from downtown, Hazratbal, Harvan, Shalimar bagh, Nishat garden, Botanical garden, Tulip garden, Cheshma shahi, Pari mahal, Nehru Park, Chaar Chinaar are some of the places that will take your breath away. We need not to mention the world famous Dal Lake alongside these gardens. A Shikara ride and a night in houseboat will complete your Srinagar tour.

2. Gulmarg:

A spot famous for skiing, snow festivals and several other celebrations is actually out of this world. You can easily spend more than a couple of hours while looking at the beautiful snow-filled mountains, beautiful trees and clear blue sky. If you wish to be over joyed, take a Gondola ride and reach Seven Spring to spring up your spirit. It will take a lot out of you to come back from this place.

3. Pahalgam:

Be it Chandanwadi, Betab Valley or the main section of Pahalgam, it is hard to believe for a person that he is actually watching all this in Asia. It holds a sight, a sight which hardly gets better. The waterfalls, glaciers and the lush green outfields make it one of the most sought out Jammu and Kashmir tourist places.

4. Sanasar:

Around 20 km from Patni-top in Jammu, this place is famous for enjoying trekking and paragliding. Some quality time at the peak of the mountains will sooth your nerves and bring peace to your mind. Famous for nearing the clouds, it attracts tourists from other countries as well.

5. Sonamarg:

It boasts of a number of trek and short routes that lead to places like Gangabal Lake, Thajwas glacier and Haramukh Mountain. Zojila pass, which connects Kashmir and Ladakh is not something you will want to miss. There is a lot you can do in Sonamarg, with huge mountains and acres of lush green fields.

6. Bangus Valley:

Situated in the north area of Kupwara district, it is also one of the top Jammu and Kashmir tourist places. It has an estimated area of about 300 square kilometers. It is transversed by a number of small streams. The forests and plains of this valley will take you to an entirely new world.
