The awe inspiring Indrahar Pass is very different from other treks, with a rocky surface greeting you from the top.Situated at 32°17.852′N 76°22.872′E / 32.297533°N 76.381200°E and an altitude of 4,342 metres above mean sea level, Indrahar Pass Trek starts from McLeodganj (Dharamsala) in the Kangra valley. It takes you through the beautiful Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal range and ends at Chamba. You will also get to see the spectacular views of sacred peak of Mani Mahesh Kailash, dense Deodar and Rhododendron forests. You can visit this place from May to June and September to October.
9. Everest Base Camp (EBC)
Starting from Kathmandu, Nepal, this trek takes you through the ridges of the Himalayas, picturesque glaciers, rhododendron and pine forests and a lot more. It is at a height of 18,523 ft. The time period from February to June and September to November are highly preferred for Everest Base Camp. You need around 2 weeks to completely explore the places and trek the Himalayas. 10. Valley of Flower Trek
A moderate trek at an elevation of 3,600 meters over the ocean level, Valley of Flower is popular for its floral diversity and unsurpassed natural beauty. 11. Pin Parvati Trek
One of the most beautiful and adventurous options in Himalaya trekking, the Pin Parvati Trek is located at an altitude of 5319 meter. It is recommended to avoid visiting this place during monsoon due to adverse weather conditions. The months post monsoon can be preferred instead.
